Holistic Growth

Communication development isn’t just about words. It’s about building confidence and emotional wellbeing for lifelong success.

After managing caseloads of 25-30+ kids at once, I created Little Gumnut Speech to provide care differently. I take on a maximum of 10 families at a time so I can build meaningful relationships and give each child the attention they deserve.

I don't want your family stuck in therapy forever. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to support your child's communication development, help you see real progress, and then have you graduate knowing you've got this.

My approach is relationship-first, play-based, and child-led. I'm trained in evidence-based parent coaching programs but adapt everything to your family's unique needs. I work online across Australia, so you can get support no matter where you live.

Working with me means increased support between sessions through SMS, email, and regular office hours, so you can maintain momentum instead of waiting a full week when you're stuck. Nothing makes me happier than seeing you gain confidence and realise that supporting your child's communication can actually be simpler than you thought.

Hi, I'm Brooke - and I understand what you're going through.

If you're here, you're probably worried about your little one's communication development. Maybe you're exhausted from constant guessing games, tantrums, and being told to "wait and see" when your gut says something's not right.

I get it, because I've been there too. As a mum myself, I've experienced that internal worry about my own child's development and the frustration of being told "she's fine" when I knew she needed support. It reinforced what I already believed as a speech pathologist: parents know their children best, and your concerns deserve to be heard and addressed.

I've been a speech pathologist for over 5 years, working across various settings, but I'm drawn to toddlers just beginning their communication journey. I'll never forget a 20-month-old who said her first clear words in our very first session: watching her mum's face light up was a powerful reminder that real progress can happen quickly with the right approach and support.
